Africa Color – street art in the Medina of Dakar

“Africa Color” is an exhibition of street art in Damels, a district of the Medina – Dakar’s oldest part of town. The open air exhibition is the outcome of international street artists’ encounter with volunteers of Damels. During one week they cleaned the district, renewed the facades of the houses and decorated the walls with street art. The result: 10 painted houses, 7 graffitis, 2 wall paintings and more than 30 collages. The following dia show will give you some impressions of the open air exhibition.
