Cheikhou Bâ – Senegal

Visitors in front of the installation “Pas assez d’électricité” (“Not enough electricity”) in one of the halls of the “Ancienne Biscuiterie de la Médina” (“Old Biscuit Factory”) in Dakar. The artist Cheikhou Bâ made the huge mural from 2240 electrical outlets. Cheikhou Bâ was born in 1971. He is a graduate of the National Arts School in Dakar. He also has a degree in Ceramic and Polymer Production of the Geneva University of art and design.
